Sharp will introduce a mobile phone equipped with solar cell modules for the Chinese market from February. SH6230C will be the first solar-powered mobile phone by Sharp to outside markets asia.
SH6230C equipped with advanced technology developed in Japan, including Sharp’s solar cell modules, amounting to 2.9-inch LCD screen, and 5-megapixel autofocus camera. With the increasing market demand for solar energy function, Sharp will carry a mobile solar power into the global market.
Sharp will introduce into Chinese markets two models (SH6220C and SH6228C) combines with the LCD memory. Memory low-power LCD display with a screen that has high visibility in the sun. Memory LCD can display information such as time and status of e-mails at any time. Sharp introduces solar mobile phone to the Japanese market in 2009.
